- Indic character reordering
- Mouse support/selection
- Support for input methods


Convenience/eyecandy/etc.:

- 88- or 256-color mode
- Support for 32bpp framebuffer device
- Fontsets instead of monolithic font 
- UCF compiler
- Terminal escapes for input method interaction


Long term goals:

- Port to 8086/BIOS/EGA (not even DOS needed)
- Bidirectional text layout
